PremiAir Racing Announces Dynamic New Driver Line-Up for 2026

In a bold shake-up for the 2026 season, PremiAir Racing has confirmed a revamped driver roster, with rising talent Jayden Ojeda and seasoned contender Declan Fraser set to drive the team’s Chevrolet Camaros. The move signals the team’s sharpened ambition to push toward podium-contending form.

Ojeda steps into his first full-time role in the series, having already impressed in co-driver duties at marquee events. His elevation to a main seat is a significant milestone — one that reflects both his personal progression and the team’s confidence in his ability to deliver. Fraser, meanwhile, returns to PremiAir after a stint with other teams, bringing the experience and recent success of a 2022 Super2 championship to the fold.

Team owner Peter Xiberras hailed the announcement as a landmark moment. He praised both drivers for their past achievements and expressed high expectations: “Jayden and Declan have shown they’re worthy of these drives in many different ways. We’re looking forward to working together next year as we claim more podiums and hopefully a breakthrough race win.”

The announcement also marks the end of an era for PremiAir, with driver Richie Stanaway set to depart the team after an underwhelming season, despite previously being under contract. Team management extended thanks to Stanaway, and to fellow outgoing driver James Golding, for their contributions in recent years and their professionalism during this transitional period.

This driver change comes amidst a flurry of moves across the Supercars grid, with looming vacancies and shifting alliances still to be resolved ahead of 2026. PremiAir’s early action here gives them an advantage in stabilising their line-up and building momentum.

For Ojeda, the move represents both a reward and a new challenge: stepping up to full-time competition means adapting quickly to the rigours of a full season and team expectations. Fraser, on the other hand, returns with the experience and continuity that PremiAir will count on to lift its performance.

As the 2025 season wraps up and teams start to focus on next year, PremiAir’s announcement sends a clear signal: they are serious about competing at the highest level. With new personnel onboard and an ambitious target in sight, all eyes will now be on how this fresh driver pairing performs — and whether they can turn promise into performance in 2026.
