Jack Le Brocq Returns to Matt Stone Racing for 2026
The Supercars driver market for 2026 has taken another dramatic turn, with Matt Stone Racing (MSR) announcing the return of Jack Le Brocq to the team. The move reunites the Queensland-based outfit with one of its most successful former drivers and adds fresh intrigue to the ongoing “silly season” of contract shuffles.

Le Brocq previously raced for MSR during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, where he achieved a milestone victory at Darwin’s Hidden Valley — the team’s first-ever win since joining the Supercars Championship in 2017. His composed drive that weekend solidified both his reputation and MSR’s position as a genuine contender.
After two seasons with Erebus Motorsport, Le Brocq now returns to MSR to pilot the #4 Chevrolet Camaro, a seat vacated by Cameron Hill following his move to Brad Jones Racing. The reshuffle highlights how rapidly the 2026 grid is taking shape, with several key seats still unconfirmed.
Le Brocq expressed his excitement about rejoining MSR, describing it as a return to familiar ground with unfinished business. “It feels great to be coming back to MSR. We achieved something really special together, and I’ve always had a lot of respect for the team and what they’ve built. They’ve made huge progress since my last stint, and I’m eager to see what we can achieve together again.”
Team principal Matt Stone welcomed the signing, noting Le Brocq’s proven ability and fit within the team’s culture. “Jack’s a race winner who knows what it takes to perform at the top level. He understands our values, our goals, and our approach to racing. Having him back gives us both stability and momentum heading into 2026.”
The announcement also deepens the intrigue around the remaining vacancies on the Supercars grid. Erebus Motorsport now finds itself searching for a replacement, while other teams continue to evaluate their driver options for next season.
For MSR, the reunion signals confidence in building on its steady rise through the ranks. For Le Brocq, it’s a chance to reignite a partnership that once delivered success and could now produce even greater results.
