Triple Eight Commits to Long-Term Future with Feeney and Brown

Triple Eight Race Engineering has delivered a major statement of intent, securing Broc Feeney and Will Brown on extended contracts that will keep the dynamic duo in Red Bull Ampol Racing colours until the end of the 2029 Supercars Championship season.

Already locked in until the conclusion of 2026, both drivers signed fresh three-year extensions 18 months ahead of schedule, solidifying the team’s future as it prepares for a monumental return to Ford machinery in 2026. The long-term retention of Feeney and Brown completes a critical piece of Triple Eight’s transition puzzle.

The move sees Triple Eight continue its tradition of driver stability, following in the footsteps of iconic figures like Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, and Shane van Gisbergen. Feeney debuted with the team in 2022 and is on track to be a mainstay for eight seasons, while Brown, who joined in 2024, will hit six seasons by 2029.

Brown, the reigning Supercars champion, expressed his enthusiasm for the early renewal: “It’s cool to re-sign this early. After winning the championship last year, the team wanting to lock us in shows the confidence we have in each other. There was never any doubt — I’m very happy here, and we’ve got the best crew in pit lane.”

He also praised the internal competition with teammate Feeney: “It’s great to have Broc alongside me. He’s been doing a fantastic job and having a competitive teammate pushes you to be better.”

Feeney, who leads the 2025 points standings with 10 wins and 10 poles, echoed Brown’s sentiments. “There’s no place I’d rather be. Triple Eight is like home. Signing another long-term deal gives me peace of mind — now it’s all about chasing trophies.”

He added: “Will and I have a great working relationship. Locking in two young drivers for the long haul builds a strong foundation for success.”

The pair now join an elite group of drivers contracted beyond 2026, including Cam Waters, Thomas Randle, and Nick Percat. With its driving roster settled and the Ford switch on the horizon, Triple Eight is positioning itself for another dominant era.
