Scott Taylor Motorsport Unveils 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour Livery and New Team Addition
Scott Taylor Motorsport has revealed its striking new livery and a key addition to the crew ahead of the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour, reinforcing its commitment to success at the iconic endurance event at Mount Panorama. The team’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 will sport a bold black and green colour scheme that combines a nod to tradition with fresh visual impact, designed to turn heads both on and off the mountain.
The #222 entry will once again compete in the highly competitive Pro class, featuring a standout driver line-up drawn from Australia’s top racing talent. Reigning Repco Supercars Champion Chaz Mostert is set to headline the roster alongside Tickford Racing stars Cameron Waters and Thomas Randle, a trio that blends outright speed and endurance skill. The combination of experienced GT drivers and Supercars acumen offers STM a strong competitive base as it seeks outright victory in the once-around-the-clock challenge.

In a significant move for the team’s preparation efforts, renowned motorsport figure Barry Ryan has joined Scott Taylor Motorsport’s Bathurst 12 Hour campaign. Ryan brings a wealth of experience, having previously guided teams to success at both the Bathurst 12 Hour and Australia’s premier touring car events. His expertise in managing high-pressure endurance operations is expected to be a major asset for the all Australian effort.
Alongside the performance and management updates, the car will also once again carry Tributes to the team owner’s own family, with the names Maddox and Indigo adorning the rear quarter panels as a personal touch. The entry will continue its longstanding support for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, marking the fifth consecutive year the team has backed the charity’s presence at the Bathurst 12 Hour. Fans will have the opportunity to contribute to the cause and be recognised through a virtual car program, reinforcing the sport’s connection to community support efforts.
Palm Trans has also renewed its backing of the STM entry, with additional prominent branding featured across the Mercedes AMG bodywork. Notably, Waters’ own whisky brand will appear on the doors, adding a layer of personal investment to the team’s visual identity.
Looking ahead to February’s endurance spectacle, Scott Taylor Motorsport is leaving nothing to chance, with a final test session scheduled at Sydney Motorsport Park before tackling Mount Panorama. The team owner himself will also compete in support races in a Porsche 911 GT3R, maintaining his active involvement both on and off the main grid.
The 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour promises to be a highlight on the Australian motorsport calendar, and Scott Taylor Motorsport’s refreshed look and strengthened crew make it one of the contenders to watch as the battle for GT3 supremacy unfolds.
