Nick Percat has announced that the 2025 Supercars Championship will be his final campaign, bringing an end to a 15-year career at the top level of Australian touring car racing.

Percat made his full-time Supercars debut in 2010 with the Holden Racing Team and immediately impressed, later claiming a memorable Bathurst 1000 victory as a rookie co-driver alongside Garth Tander in 2011. Across more than a decade and a half, he has recorded six championship race wins, representing some of the category’s most recognised teams including Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, Brad Jones Racing, Walkinshaw Andretti United, and most recently, Matt Stone Racing.

Known for his technical feedback and adaptability, Percat has been a valuable asset to every operation he has joined. His recent move to Matt Stone Racing rejuvenated his form, helping the Queensland-based outfit become a more consistent force in the mid-pack and beyond. The timing of his retirement announcement gives both driver and team a clear runway to focus on performance through 2025.

“Nick has been a fantastic representative for Supercars and a proven race winner,” read the sentiment shared across the paddock as news broke. “He’s one of the sport’s most genuine characters and has made a lasting contribution both on and off the track.”

Percat’s decision adds another chapter to a season already shaping as one of transition for the championship, with several key driver and team changes expected. His farewell tour will be closely followed by fans, culminating on the Adelaide streets where his racing journey first began.

While he steps away from full-time driving, Percat’s future within motorsport remains open. With his wealth of experience, he is expected to stay involved in the sport through endurance events, coaching, or media commitments.

As the countdown begins to his final season, Nick Percat leaves behind a legacy defined by perseverance, professionalism, and passion — qualities that have earned him respect throughout the Supercars paddock.
