POSITIVE THROTTLE
NDIS SUPPORT
(BIKES OPTIONAL • OUTCOMES FIRST)

Bikes are an option, not a requirement. Outcomes first.
Real-world mentoring, life skills and community participation — built around what works for you.
Motorcycling is one of our anchors, but it’s not required. We use the activity that fits the person — and turn it into confidence, routine, responsibility, and real progress.
Quick clarity
  • Motorcycles are optional. We start with the person’s strengths and interests (“currency”).
  • 1:1 support that is paced to the participant.
  • Safety-first with right-to-risk safeguards.
  • NDIS-aligned supports across community participation, life skills and employment readiness.

What we do

We support NDIS participants through strength-based mentoring, community participation, life skills and employment readiness. Some people thrive with motorcycling — others don’t. Either way, the outcomes are the same: growth, capability and wellbeing.

“Currency” (how we tailor supports)
We work from your “currency” — what naturally engages you. For some people that’s motorcycling. For others it’s music, art, fitness, hands-on projects, or time outdoors.

Choose your pathway

Safety & “right to risk”
Positive Throttle creates a safe, encouraging space to learn by doing. We balance challenge with care — using right-to-risk principles supported by safeguards and paced progression. We progress only when the participant is ready.
Funding clarity (NDIS vs activity costs)
The NDIS typically funds the support component (our time supporting participation) when aligned with the participant’s goals. Provider travel may also be claimable where applicable and agreed.

General activity costs are often separate (e.g., venue fees, equipment hire, memberships, licences/permits) unless a plan includes a specific activity-cost budget and it’s agreed in advance.
